Good question, but his infamous dinner occurred just prior to the Georgia US Senate runoff. That event was the news a lot of Georgia voters saw before voting. No question that it occurred after the Nov. 8th general election. It is unfair to blame Trump for Walker’s defeat, but it’s arguable that he contributed to it in several ways (starting with with recruiting him).
