They're Gaslighting Us, Again
Pundit and radio talker Erick Erickson beat me to the punch on a superb post about energy, and some truth about gas prices. It's a must-read.
No one is happier than me that Joe Biden yesterday, finally and belatedly, sanctioned Russian oil and gas. The USA nor the companies that sell energy here have any business financing Vladimir Putin’s illegitimate and unprovoked invasion of a sovereign neighbor.
Russia supplies, until now, about 3 percent of our oil. Since the USA has larger oil reserves, onshore and off than either Russia or Saudi Arabia, we should have little problem in supplying the market, especially our own. And a little walk through history the last time we had such an oil price shock reminds us how quickly it was dealt with in 2008.
But in talking about his Russian sanctions, he again attempted to gaslight us about energy prices. I was going to post today about that, but fellow Substacker and Atlanta radio talker Erick Erickson beat me to it. While his posts are usually behind a paywall, he made this one available.
It is a must-read.
Elections have consequences, most of what we consume requires fossil fuel (even electric cars)this is a tactic the left uses over and over again, I sometimes gripe about living in Oklahoma, “Lord please forgive me” fuel prices have gone up but not as bad as most of the country, it’s amazing we are being invaded by Californians, even they think Ok is better than living in a blue state, our real estate values are going through the roof ( inflation will take care of that)
