Showing Grace
Ex-QAnon Nutter Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Earns It By Memorably Visiting the Holocaust Museum. Its Your Turn, "The Squad"
We all deserve grace for mistakes and miscues in our lives. The Good Book provides for it. I've made my share of errors, and a few more are no doubt teed up. I am so grateful for God’s grace and forgiveness.
I'm no fan of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who has said some really stupid stuff during her brief foray into politics. Her flirtation with Q-Anon was Olympic-level stupid. But many of these mistakes are made out of ignorance. People just do not know history. I've dedicated my blog to fill that void.
So when she takes the time to visit the Holocaust museum in Washington, DC and is clearly both moved and more educated as a result, she deserves grace and encouragement. I've never been to the Holocaust Museum, and now I'm more inspired to go.
So, speaking of grace, I’ll make a public offer to any member of the "The Squad," including Reps. AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and especially Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who equates the US with the terrorist organization Hamas, which sadly and brutally controls Palestine. I offer to personally escort them to any military base where our soldiers are trained to defend freedom and counter hostile forces like Hamas and their Iranian enablers. I’ll make all the necessary arrangements. I’m serious.
Triggered by visiting an active military base? OK, how about Arlington Cemetary? I don’t think any of the dead Confederates in Section 16 will emerge from their graves to threaten you. After all, they’re kind of outnumbered. Even at Arlington.
I strongly suspect none of “The Squad” has visited. I doubt any member of our illustrious media has asked.
Having been there many, many times over 40 years, just give me a couple of hours. We’ll stop by the Old Post chapel to watch the remains of a veteran moved to their burial site, followed by members of the Old Guard and family. We’ll be sure to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
We’ll traverse specific sections where famous and not-so-famous Americans fought against and even gave their lives to overcome real fascism, including the gravesite of our most decorated WWII soldier.
So, let's hope "The Squad" takes a lesson from Rep. Greene. We can all grow and learn. And I'm willing to shower you with grace in the process. The next step is yours to take. I'm waiting. https://nypost.com/.../marjorie-taylor-greene.../...
