Twitter is a horrific cesspool, but sometimes it provides interesting. . . information.
I spend very little time on Twitter, where I have an anonymous account (not a bot, for the record). It is the worst of our scatological social media outlets, including Facebook, and even LinkedIn with its banal self-promotion and incessant marketing.
But sometimes, on some days, it produces some gems, based on news of the day. I share a few tweets here, for your amusement.
Sorry, I’ve been around Washington, DC since the Carter Administration, and I cannot remember a single incident of a President calling out a dead Member of Congress. Sorry, but this press secretary is an imbecile.

As part of the “Commitment to America,” House Republicans promise to eliminate “proxy voting,” which allows them to “vote” without actually showing up for work. US Rep. Tim Ryan, Ohio’s Democratic nominee for US Senate, used proxy voting so he could raise money from Hollywood moguls.
Philly is a hell hole to be avoided at all costs. Especially at night. Such as sad demise for a once great city.
